Why Final Checks?
Final Checks offers high quality teachers who are involved in Film, TV and Fashion. This will provide up to date techniques and direct contact to some top makeup artists. We will be able to provide in house work experience. Direct connections to the industry. Be able to gain confidence working in a professional environment. Be able to concentrate on learners who are committed to the course and to the industry. We can provide a high standard of after care for all learners.
Work experience is an essential element of this course and you will be encouraged to take part in a variety of educational visits throughout the year and supporting local productions will be a compulsory element of this course. We will ensure that your training fits your personal requirements. Some units are delivered through blended learning packages and online support.
Candidates will be expected to work independently producing research material, evidence and assignments. Additional qualifications may be possible, such as Job Search, Interview Skills and Functional Skills.
Danielle Everitt (owner of Final Checks Studio) is a professional makeup artist with over 12 years experience in TV, Film and Fashion. Clients and companies include: David Beckham, Amy Childs, Craig David, Big Brother, Beats By Dre, Nivea and X Factor. Danielle has taught BTEC for 7 years in various colleges. She has also herself studied the BTEC in production arts (makeup up) in 2007. Danielle and her team will be able to bring you the new techniques and skills to become a professional makeup artist. Her work ethics have a very high standard to which she will expect from her learners.

Danielle has a number of artists connected to the industry that will be involved in teaching specified units. This would give the learners the correct skills that will need to pass each unit.
Louise Constad - Award-winning international make-up artist Louise Constad has worked with all the top photographers and directors, and is the make-up artist of choice for many of the world's most beautiful women – Kristin Scott Thomas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Helena Bonham Carter, Camilla Rutherford, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Tina Turner and Juliette Binoche are just some of her regular clients.
Maria Malone- Maria, who hails from Limerick, recreates celebrity faces, footballers, zombies, 3D effects and gory cuts and scars with face-paint. Maria has worked with celebrities such as Emma Bunton and has been seen on 'This Morning' Her specialities include A-listers Angelina Jolie, Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson as Johnny in The Shining, as well as global icons from Nelson Mandela to the Queen.
